Today marks the unfortunate day of the collapsing of Ajax player Abdelhak “Appie” Nouri. One year ago Abdelhak collapsed during a friendly game versus Werder Bremen in Austria. After days at the hospital it was detected that Abdelhak Nouri suffered a brain injury and doctors predicted there would be low chances of a successful recovery for the talented football player.
Now a year has passed and what the circumstances are of Abdelhak is only known to the family and the ones close by. Two weeks ago football club Ajax did take its responsibility of the inadequate treatment of Abdelhak during his collapse.
A year later and Abdelhak is still reminded by fellow footballers, family, friends and fans all over the world. We at Alkebulan send our prayers to the family and wish Abdelhak Nouri a prosperous recovery #StayStrongAppie
