Dutch investigators say that they have uncovered hard evidence that a Russian army missile system fired the missile that shot down flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine four years ago.
On 17 July 2014, Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down over eastern Ukraine. The flight was on its way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. On board were 298 passengers and 15 crew members. Among the passengers were 196 Dutch nationals. Innocent civilians killed without cause and 298 deaths unjustified. Prime Minister Rutte of the Netherlands promised that everything would be done to bring justice. The Dutch government set three priorities: repatriating and identifying the victims, establishing the cause of the crash and conducting a criminal investigation.
The Joint Investigations Team (JIT), which is conducting research into the crash of the MH17 presented some of their findings today. The most important finding of the JIT team is proof that the Buk rocket TELAR brought down MH17 from the 53rd brigade of the Russian army. Since Russia is being accused of the matter and not willing to share the necessary information, the public is called for help. The research team has the following four questions: Who was part of the crew? With what instruction did that crew go? Who was responsible for the missile? And who has more information about procedures and responsibilities within the brigade?
Everyone in the world who knows something is being called to report. Justice needs to be served!
